The strategic collaboration aimed at fostering research and development, enhancing community engagement, and strengthening university-industry linkages and technology transfer activities.

The collaboration is set to advantage the academic and research activities of ASTU with OBN's reach experience in media and public information dissemination.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Lemi Guta, President of Adama Science and Technology University, and Mr. Fissiha Belayneh, Director General of the Oromia Broadcasting Network in the presence of top management from both side.

The collaboration is expected to manifest through joint research projects, shared expertise in technology transfer initiatives, and the co-creation of content that informs and educates the public on critical scientific and technological advancements. It will also provide ASTU students with internships and practical learning opportunities at OBN, while OBN staff can benefit from training and workshops conducted by ASTU experts.

This synergistic approach aims to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem where knowledge creation and practical application mutually reinforce each other, ultimately serving the broader Ethiopian community.
