A seminar event was organized by the College of Applied Natural Sciences and attended by scholars from the College.
Dr. Gemechu deressa , from the Department of Cemistry presented a seminar titled "Green-Emitting CaSc2O4:Ce3+ Phosphor for White-Light-Emitting Diode."
Mr. Adugn Fita from College of Applied Natural Science, Department of Applied Mathematics has successfully defended his PhD dissertation titled, “A DC Optimization Approach for Constrained Bi- Level Hierarchical Clustering with L1 Norm (optimization) ".

Mr. Dereje Tarekegn from College of Applied Natural Science, Department of Applied Mathematics has successfully defended his PhD dissertation titled, “Convergence and Mathematical Analysis of Particle Swarm Optimization".

In an event organized by the College of Applied Natural Sciences and attended by scholars from the College, Dr. Ofgaa Jirata, a senior researcher from the Department of Biology, showcased his research finding titled "Development and Validation of White Mango Scale Management Technologies for Sustainable Mango Production in Ethiopia."
