Delegates from Harbin Railway and Technical College of China and CRCD visited ASTU on Nov-27, 2024 to sign memorandum of Understanding. Dr. Lemi Guta, President of ASTU, in his welcoming speech expressed that the University has collaboration with many Chinese universities.

He expressed his hope that the engagement with Harbin Railway and Technical College of China will be steppingstone for other more practical engagements. He further highlighted that today’s agreement could be more beneficial for Transport and Vehicle Engineering center of excellences as it is directly related.

Delegates Harbin Railway and Technical College of China on their behalf expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome. They affirmed that skill exchange, capacity training, student exchange and Scholarship opportunity and apparentship will be offered in line with the agreement. During the discussion, the delegates expressed their readiness to put the MOU in to action. The delegates visited laboratories of the Department of Civil Engineering.
