The School of Postgraduate Studies at Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) has organized a comprehensive training session on the implementation of its anti-plagiarism policy framework and postgraduate guidelines. The one-day awareness creation session held on March 28, 2025, at Borati Hall, brought together the academic staff, research personnel, and the top management.

Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Oromia Industrial Parks Development Corporation, Horizon Addis Tyre Manufacturing, and OProduce Group on March 25, 2025, at the ASTU ICT Smart Room. This partnership aims to strengthen human resource development, enhance institutional capacity, and promote research and technology transfer.

Academic and research staffs at Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) visited various development projects on campus. The visit was organized by the ASTU President’s Office as part of training and consultative meeting organized for the academic staff, and research assistants across its colleges from March 17 to 21, 2025. Led by the university’s senior management, the tour covered major ongoing infrastructure projects.

The training has been held from March 17–21, 2025, focusing on professional ethics, trust building, and enhancing employee engagement to promote organizational excellence and support ASTU's achievements in its pursuit of autonomy.

Second-year students from various departments at the ASTU-STEM Center have secured a spot in the upcoming VEX Robotics Competition finals in Dallas, Texas, USA, after achieving 2nd place in the VEX Robotics competition held at the Ethiopian Science Museum in Addis Ababa.

Adama Science and Technology University organized a two-day forum aimed at addressing drug abuse among students. The event was led by Dr. Jima Assefa, the Dean of Student Services, who highlighted the growing concern of drug abuse among young people.

During the opening speech, Dr. Jima emphasized the need for awareness about the dangers of drugs and the importance of prevention strategies. The first day of the forum focused on training 150 selected students, while the second day was dedicated to campus security staff and proctors.
