Adama Science and Technology University organized a two-day forum aimed at addressing drug abuse among students. The event was led by Dr. Jima Assefa, the Dean of Student Services, who highlighted the growing concern of drug abuse among young people.

During the opening speech, Dr. Jima emphasized the need for awareness about the dangers of drugs and the importance of prevention strategies. The first day of the forum focused on training 150 selected students, while the second day was dedicated to campus security staff and proctors.

From March 3 to 7, 2025, the Educational Quality Enhancement Directorate of Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) organized a training session on Quality Management System (QMS) Development and Implementation, based on ES ISO 9001:2015. The training was held at ASTU ICT Smart Class in collaboration with the Institute of Ethiopian Standards (IES).

On March 7, 2025, a group of Grade 12 female students from public schools in Adama City, who ranked in the top 10 during the first semester of the current academic year, visited various departments of Adama Science and Technology University. The visit was organized by the University’s Community Engagement Directorate and the Executive Office of Women and Social Affairs. Among the places they visited were the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Center and the female students' dormitory.
