


Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) and Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on May 10, 2025, at ASTU's president office. Dr. Teshome Abdo, Vice President for academic affairs of ASTU and Engineer Meaza Abera, Director General of the Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise signed the agreement.

The first day of the research symposium was colorfully opened at Oda Nebi Hall of Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) Campus in the presence of higher government officials, invited guests, and seasoned expert speakers, and researchers from across the world and Ethiopia.

Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) convened a successful validation workshop for the research project entitled "Technology Need Assessment and Strategic Roadmap for the ICT, Trade, Transport and Environment sectors of Oromia Regional State" on May 2, 2025, at the Dire International Hotel in Adama, Ethiopia. This research initiative, undertaken in collaboration with the Oromia Science and Technology Authority (OSTA), aimed to assess the current state of technology utilization, identify future technological requirements, and formulate a strategic plan and roadmap to guide implementation across the respective sectors.

Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU), Women and Social Affairs Executive organized a two-day training program designed to boost leadership skills among its female academic and administrative staff from April 3-4, 2025 at Borati Hall.
