Adama Science and Technology University's executive board has discussed and passed decisions on different agendas. Among the agendas the board discussed is the 2015 fiscal year performance report and the 2016 fiscal year plan review. Also, the president of the university has discussed extensively on the 2015 executive report and After extensive review of 2016 plans, the university unanimously approved both. After evaluating the university’s overall activities, the university’s current head Dr. Lemie Guta has decided to continue as the university’s president for a second term.

Yohannes has worked hard over the years, focusing not just on learning but excelling in his fields of study. His dedication has resulted in a CGPA of 3.98, with 47 A+ grades – a testament to his passion and persistence. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding for Yohannes and he is deeply grateful for the education and opportunities he has received at ASTU.

KOICA Ethiopia, in its commitment to support the quality of education through ICT integration, has donated various pieces of equipment to Adama Science and Technology University and Arsi University. The donation ceremony was held in the presence of ASTU President, Dr. Lemi Guta, Vice President for Administrative and Student Services, Dr. Solomon Turuneh, and Arsi University President, Dr. Duguma Adugna.
The donation included eight pieces of equipment for Adama Science and Technology University, which will help enhance the quality of education through ICT. The equipment includes various cameras, VDI solutions, servers storages, NVR, furniture, and other items.

• Cottage Industries Study in Oromia: Rapid Assessment, Technology and Skill Gap Identification, and Improvement Strategies with Selected Feasibility Study

BIM trainingphoto

Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) in collaboration with Construction Management Institute (CMI) organized Building Information Modeling (BIM) training which was held in ASTU from August 20, 2023 to September 4, 2023.
Twenty-two staff from School of the school of Civil Engineering and Architecture, School of Mechanical, Chemical and Materials Engineering and School of Electrical Engineering and computing, and ASTU Construction Office successfully completed the training. The trained staff members were certified by Autodesk Authorized Training Center after receiving training in BIM-Structure, BIM-Architecture, BIM-MEP and BIM-Project Management Technologies.
