Prof. SeJung Yong who served for many years in one of the Korean universities (Ajou University) as dean of School of Business Administration came to ASTU on a fact finding mission on November 28,2013 as a candidate for the dean’s position of the School of Business and Economics (SoBE).

The Hirsch Institute of Tropical Medicine (HITM) , established in ASTU’s  School of Health Sciences and Hospital’s  (SHH)  premises, was officially inaugurated  on  October  16,2013.
