MoU with OBN
Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) and the Oromia Broadcasting Network (OBN) have officially singed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 24, 2025 at the President's office of ASTU.
The strategic collaboration aimed at fostering research and development, enhancing community engagement, and strengthening university-industry linkages and technology transfer activities.

Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) and the Ethiopian Aviation University (EAU) have initiated high-level officials’ discussions on August 7, 2025 at the Ethiopian Aviation University, Addis Ababa. The meeting aimed to establish a strategic partnership across various areas of specializations, leveraging their respective strengths in academic excellence and aviation industry leadership.

Adama Science and Technology Universitys STI organized a seminar

The Space Technology Institute (STI) of ASTU held a seminar with experts from South Korea to discuss drone projects. Dr. Silewendim Eshetu, Director of ASTU STI, discussed current practices of ASTU's drone development and challenges. Similarly, Dr. Shimelis Lemma, Dean of ASTU's College of Mechanical, Chemical, and Materials Engineering, talked about the activities of his college and possible areas of collaboration.
